An October day filled with FREE family fun including hands-on educational activities, music, food, park performers and boat rides on the bayou!

The Buffalo Bayou Partnership Gala, held the first week of November each year, is BBP’s most important fundraiser. Guests enjoy cocktails and a seated dinner atop The Water Works overlooking Houston’s dazzling downtown skyline.

Join us for Texas’ largest canoe and kayak race along historic Buffalo Bayou! Houstonians (ages 12 and up) are encouraged to participate in the 15-mile race along the scenic Buffalo Bayou.

This spring celebration – hosted by BBP’s young professionals group, The Currents – provides over 500 guests with an experience far beyond that of a typical park visit and features bites and libations, live music and more!
