Buffalo Bayou Park

Buffalo Bayou Partnership, the Kinder Foundation, Harris County Flood Control District and the City of Houston are collaborating to:

• Restore the bayou to a more natural and self-sustaining version of what exists today
• Reintroduce native landscapes
• Add amenities to enhance enjoyment and safety of visitors

Opening in Fall 2015, Buffalo Bayou Park will include hike and bike trails; paddle craft and bike rentals; the go-to dog park in the city; a nature play area; and gathering places for residents and visitors to enjoy outdoor activities as well as live, artistic performances.
