More than 3,000 dog-owners and their four-legged friends joined us on January 17 for the Johnny Steele Dog Park opening festivities. Waterway Now Open at Montrose
Good news kayakers, canoeists and water enthusiasts! Buffalo Bayou near Montrose is open for park users, just in time for Spring. In mid-March, Harris County Flood Control District contractors completed channel realignment work in this area, allowing users to take uninterrupted trips down the bayou. 2013 Chevron Houston Marathon
Many Houstonians started the new year off with a 26.2-mile marathon or 13.1-mile half marathon.
