Deeper Dive: Buffalo Bayou Park’s 5th Anniversary
“Dive Deeper” into the process and planning of how Buffalo Bayou Park came to be one of Houston’s favorite urban greenspaces! This presentation includes two people that were integral in the planning and execution – Guy Hagstette, BBP Board Member and Vice President of Parks and Civic Projects at the Kinder Foundation and Scott McCready, Principal of SWA Group. Originally aired September 24.
As we commemorate the 5th Anniversary of Buffalo Bayou Park, Buffalo Bayou Partnership sincerely thanks the Kinder Foundation and all of the generous donors who made this transformational project possible along with our many partners including the City of Houston through Houston Parks & Recreation, Harris County Flood Control District, and Downtown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) #3.
Artful Anniversary is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance, Conely Foundation, and SWA Group.
Continue the celebration and support Buffalo Bayou Partnership on Thursday, November 5 at the BBP Picnic: Celebrating Five Years of Buffalo Bayou Park! Proceeds from our fall fundraising event cover a significant portion of our operating budget, and your support is needed now more than ever.
